    • How do Martha and Mary each respond to Jesus's arrival? What differences do you notice in their interactions with him?

    • What theological truths does Jesus reveal in his conversation with Martha (especially in John 11:25-26)?

    • Why does Jesus weep (John 11:35)? What does this reveal about his emotions?
