Our Leadership Team

Leadership at Mayfield Baptist is a team effort.
The Team consists of:

Pastors
Elders ( who provide spiritual oversight)
Administration staff
Executive staff (Finances and effective coordination of church ministry and administration)

The Team works together to seek God's vision for our church and to enable the church to go out into the world and create disciples, both locally and globally!

Pastoral Team

Stephen Nosworthy
Senior Pastor

Stephen is Teaching Pastor and Pastoral Team Leader at Mayfield, having been invited to step back in at Mayfield at the beginning of 2018, bringing more than 37 years of pastoral and leadership experience to the role. It is a bit of a ‘homecoming’ for him, as he was Youth & Young Adults Pastor at MBC in the mid-late 80’s.
In his own words, Stephen loves it ‘when the lights go on’ and people come to truly appreciate the depth of love God has for them. For this reason, he is passionate about the Word of God, mission and discipleship, together with the fact that he gets to do all this alongside others. He is a strong communicator, thorough administrator, and relational team player.
Stephen is married to Dawn, and they have three adult sons, three daughters-in-law, and six grandchildren. Stephen lists his passions and interests as being his personal faith in God, his family, reading a good book (Wilbur Smith and Matthew Reilly), travel and sport - especially soccer.
