Sometimes it just seems the odds are against you. People you speak with have it in for you…a friend lets you down…attempts to get things done just don’t work out…everything you turn your hand to just crumbles away under the pressure. However, when you allow God to solve your problems, it becomes a testimony to others - the world takes notice when the Christian lives by faith. And God loves to demonstrate His power in those who will believe Him and expect Him to work in their lives.
There are principles in 2 Chronicles 20 which show us something about handling overwhelming odds.
The amazing thing in the story of 2 Chronicles 20 is that the people gave a name to the place where this battle was fought - the Valley of Blessing and Praise (that’s what “Berakah” means). God wants to bless your life and to give you peace (2 Chronicles 20:29-30). Wouldn’t that be great if that’s what we enjoyed? It would be great to live at peace and have rest on every side. When you allow God to solve your problems, it becomes a testimony to others - the world sits up and takes notice.
Have a great week…and remember, keep firing for Jesus
