You're welcome at Mayfield Baptist...

check out why you're welcome in this video!

Over 13 million people worldwide have now attended an Alpha course, an opportunity to explore the meaning of life, running in tens of thousands of churches of all denominations across the world.
Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions, with a day or weekend away.

"I believe that every person that is seeking to know more about the Lord Jesus and His plan and purpose for our life, should be given the opportunity to complete Alpha." Darren J Beadman, Jockey

"What Alpha offers, and what is attracting thousands of people, is permission, rare in secular culture, to discuss the big questions - life and death and their meaning."The Guardian, London

"Many claim Alpha has changed their lives and appear genuinely happier for the experience." Time Magazine

If you are interested in attending Alpha, or know of some-one who may benefit from alpha, please contact Pastor Jenny Allen.

Journeys is for people who may be a little ‘church-shy’ or who have a very limited basic knowledge of the Christian faith, the Journeys series watched in a small group setting is the perfect first step.

Journeys is a five-week DVD journey exploring the Christian faith through real people, amazing stories and changed lives. The course connects with regular people whose lives have been impacted by God, sharing powerful interviews about spiritual encounters, and how faith works at 'street level'.

If you are interested in attending Journeys, or know of some-one else who may be interested, please contact Pastor Jenny Allen

Meet the Team

For those who are new to our Church and would like to know a little more of who we are, we hold a ‘meet the Team’ luncheon once or twice a term.

Over lunch with our pastoral team and others who are new to our family, we will share a little more of the heart of our pastors, and the vision and direction of our church. Most importantly it’s an opportunity simply to get to know one another at a richer level.

Those interested can contact Katrina Cowling for further details on when the next ‘Meet the Team’ is planned.
